Point A is located at (-2,4), it is translated to the left 2 and down 5, then reflected across the y-axis. What are the coordinates of A' and A"? A'(-4 , -1) , A''(-4 , -1)

A'(0 , -1), A"(0 , -1)
A'(-4 , 3), A"(4 , 3)
A'(-4 , -1) , A"(4 , -1)

We have :

A = (-2, 4)

If we translated to the left 2 and down 5 we will get:

A' = (-2 - 2, 4 - 5) = (-4, -1)

Reflecting that point across the y-axis:

A'' = (-4, 1)

R/ A' = (-4, -1) & A'' = (-4, 1) → Option A
