So if the plank is 10 1/6 inches then it will convert to 61/6
Each piece is of size 3 7/18 = 61/18
Now we convert both denominators to the same value
(61/6)*3= 183/18
61/18= 61/18
Now both the denominators get cancelled because they are same.
So now to find how many pieces there are, we need to do 183/6
= 3

So there are 3 pieces in total
