$18.55/100 = $0.1855*4 = $0.742 = 4% of $18.55

$18.55 + $0.742 = $19.292

$19.292/100 = $0.19292 = $4.43716 = 23% of $19.292

$19.292 + $4.43716 = $23.72916

Benjamin’s total cost was $23.73
