(1) In this paper, I will discuss the possible causes of heartburn which include eating certain foods, smoking cigarettes, and wearing tight clothes.
(2) I believe that walking can be an enjoyable aerobic sport, and it is also excellent for one's health.
(3) Although I do not know much about the crime rate in American cities, it seems to be decreasing.
(4) Living in a city is fabulous.

I like the enthusiasm of the last one. If you have a writing style that supports it, you have a terrific chance at a good paper. I don't think it's the intended answer, but I'd like to see someone try it.

(1) The closest one for someone writing a school essay is likely the first one. It's carefully worded (the word possible is used) and there are 3 causes listed so you know what you are going to get. It's not exciting, but it gets you through the assignment.

(2) it really is sort of uninteresting. It doesn't sound like a study or a personal recollection. I don't think this would carry you through 2 pages. Either recollect something or make a study out of it.

(3) You shouldn't admit that you know nothing about what you are going to write about. Look up some stats and find out which hypothesis to try. Crime is increasing. Crime is not increasing.
