Why is Judaism a significant religion in
world history?

The notion that the Creator of the universe is the only deity and that He is interested in the advancement of society as it is fueled by human justice, kindness, and humility is something that Judaism provided to our civilization.

Many atheists assume that morality, as represented by ethical monotheism, is a given in Western culture, but it hasn't always been there, it still isn't universal, and it's showing signs of deterioration.

According to Longfellow, "the grave is not its objective" and we should be "up and doing," striving, and seeking since we have been given the responsibility to better the world. Ethical monotheism gave rise to this philosophy. If we can, even make it flawless. However, since what was referred to as the "death of God" in the 1960s, the notion that humans have a noble purpose has been questioned, and a new belief—that we are some sort of mistake, the world would be better off without us, and the best we can do is minimize our impact—is beginning to take hold. It is not a coincidence, in my opinion, that moral relativism opposes Judeo-Christian principles at the same time.

Thank you,

Eddie
