If you have a scientific calculator you can plug the entire equation in the calculator.

If you don't, work out the parentheses first.

1. Change the fraction to a decimal.

(1)/(4) is equal to 1.25

2. Multiply 1.25 by 9.60

1.25 × 9.60 is 12

3. Re-write to (12) × 9

4. Mulitply 12 by 9

(12) × 9 is 108
