y=x+2

Explanation:

Given, m = 1

Eqn of st line is y = mx + c

y = 1*x + c

y= x + c ........eqn (i)

since, the line passes through the point (4,2)

4 = 2 + c

c = 4 - 2

c = 2

Now, Putting the value of c = 2 in eqn (i)

y = x + 2 is req eqn of line
