Explanation:

First, find f(-5)

f(-5)= -2(-5)+11 = 10+11 = 21

The find g(-5)

g(-5)= (-5)^2 +13 = 25 +13 = 38

Then add up both together to find f(-5)+g(-5)

21+38 = 59
