Answer is 3/8
Step by step
Use x for car wax
2/3x = 1/4 × 1 car
2/3x = 1/4
Divide both sides by 2/3 to solve for x
x = 1/4 divided by 2/3
Note to divide fractions flip the 2/3 and multiply
x = 1/4 × 3/2 multiply across
x = 3/8.
