Find f(x)+g(x), given f(x)=x^2-8 and g(x)=-2-x^2

The ^means there’s a 2 over top of that number please show your steps if you solve this for me

\left(x^2-8\right)+\left(-2-x^2\right)=-10


\left(x^2-8\right)+\left(-2-x^2\right)


=x^2-8-2-x^2


=x^2-x^2-8-2


=-8-2


=-10
