Lab mice are bred such that every mouse is literally a clone of any other mouse. Yet, resilience arises regularly in a fraction of the mice during CSDS studies. If they're all clones, but we always find a resilient population, what does that say about how resilience works?

You may heard of the term mutation. Even during cloning, which is done by the process of DNA replication. Certain agents referred to as mutagens bring about changes in the chromosomal constitution, or how certain genes are arranged on the chromosome. Some physical factors include X rays and gamma rays, while some chemical factors include EMS and nitrogenous gases.
