I need help with this math question plsssss help!!


\frac{x} {3} - 17 = -9

x = 24
I had to do this mentally so if you had x/3 what would the 3 times that would equal 24? It would be 8 so multiply that and then your able to subtract the 17 from the 24 /3 and you get -9 I hope this explains it in a simple way to understand :)
