In a minimum of five sentences, explain what this quote means to you and how you would live these ideas in your life: "Let me be a free man, free to travel, free to stop, free to work, free to trade where I choose my own teachers, free to follow the religion of my fathers, free to think and talk and act for myself, and I will obey every law, or submit to the penalty"

Answer:

To me it means that this man wants to be free. Free to do what he wants with his life. He wants to be able to travel freely, have the freedom to talk when he wants to talk, etc. He wants to be able to follow the religion of his fathers but sometimes he cant do so. If he does follow the the laws, the quote says 'or submit to the penalty' which means getting punished.
