Sigma
bonds
are formed by the Head-to-head overlapping of atomic orbitals while
Pi
bonds
are formed by the lateral overlapping of two atomic orbitals.
Types of hybridization:
1) sp hybridization.
2) sp² hybridization.
3) Sp^3 hybridization.
