.5 ( 8 + 16) x 3

.5 x24 x 3

.5 x 24=12

12x3=36

base one would be 8

base two is 16( you have that middle section which is 8cm and then those side sections which are each 4cm)

height is 3

Explanation: to find the area of a triangle you do length x width and then divid that by 2 so 3x4=12 /2=6
you have two of the same triangles so 12. and then do 3x8=24
12+24=36
since it’s area 36cm^2
