Okay so the problem is really 7+7(4)+1-10(4) as the a is really 4.
In the order of PENDAS you do the parentheses first. Parentheses mean that you times the inside number by the outside number that is touching the parentheses.
So 7 times 4 is 28 and -10 times 4 is -40
So now the equation is 7+28+1-40
7+28 is 35 and 1-40 is -39
35-39 is -4 so -4 should be the answer sorry if I’m wrong or messed up.
