anytime the two constants are next to each other it’s just multiplication.
for example if it was a=3, what is 2a. you would do 2*3=6. this expression would be 5*6=30.

ab is basically a x b

so substitute your values in and solve:

ab = 5 x 6 = 30

thus, your answer is 30
