As the Shoshone people were a nomadic one, a home that is easy to put up and take down would be essential for the lifestyle they lead. As a result, tepees were essential to the living of this Native American group. The Pueblo people lived in the type of homes that they did as a result of their lack of migration. More permanent homes would only make sense for a way of living such as theirs.
