Get s first using the pythagoras theorem;

s^2 = 14^2 - 3^2

s^2 = 196 - 9

s^2 = 187

s = √187

s = 13.67

Similarly

s^2 + 3^2 = r^2

Since s^2 = 187

187 + 9 = r^2

r^2 = 196

r = √196

r = 14ft
