15 − (n − 3) = 3(n + 5).
To find the opposite of n-3, find the opposite of each term.
The opposite of -3 is 3.
Add 15 and 3 to get 18.
Use the distributive property to multiply 3 by n+5.
Subtract 3n from both sides.
Combine -n and -3n to get -4n.
Subtract 18 from both sides.
Subtract 18 from 15 to get -3.
Divide both sides by -4.
