y=-1x
or
y=-1x + 0

Considering you already have the slope & a point you end up having

Y = mx + b

-4 which is your Y so

-4=mx + b

M is your slope so

-4=-1(x) + b

Your x is 4 so

-4= -1(4) + b

B is your y intercept but because -4 = -1 times 4 your b is zero

Answer:

y = -x

Explanation:

Use the equation:

y = mx + b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

In this case, there is no y intercept, as we can see by manipulating the point-slope equation:

y + 4 = -1(x + 4)

y = -x + 0

So, the equation for this line is y = -x.
