Evaluate: 6.2x - 3y where x=2 and y=3
please help me I don't understand

Answer:

3.4

Explanation:

6.2x = 6.2 x 2 = 12.4

y = 3

3y = 3 x 3 = 9

Hence, it is 12.4 - 9 = 3.4

Additional notes: If there is a integer/number bigger than 1 at the start of the alphabet, for example find 4y when y = 4 it's just basically multiplying the number which represents the alphabet with the value at the back of the alphabet. For example, to find 4y it is supposed to be 4 x 4 = 16.
