We find a slope between two arbitrary pair of points( arbitrary means what the question given us). One point we are given is (0,4) and an another point we are given is (2,1). Now we use the slope formula,


(change in y )/(change in x)

So let plug in the values,


(4-1)/(0-2) =(3)/(-2) =-(3)/(2)

The slope is -3/2
