Your last doctor's visit cost $90. Health insurance through your employer

paid $72, and you paid the remaining $18. What percentage of the cost did you
pay?

You would pay 20% because if you divide 72/90, that would suggest that your employer paid 80% of you total as 72/90=.8 and 100%-80%=20%
You can also just divide 18/90 and you’d get .2 which is the equivalent to 20%
