Answer:

(23/27, 11/9)

Explanation:

Given the simultaneous equation;

-6x+5y=1..... 1

6x+4y=10.... 2

Add both equations

5y + 4y = 1+10

9y = 11

y = 11/9

Substitute y = 11/9 into 1;

From 1;

-6x+5y=1.

-6x + 5(11/9) = 1

-6x + 55/9 = 1

-6x = 1- 55/9

-6x = (9-55)/9

-6x = -46/9

x = -46/-54

x = 23/27

The solution to the system of equation is (23/27, 11/9)
