I am trying to solve the equation; 2(x-2/3)=0. I need to show my work.

Answer:

x = 1/3

Explanation:

The equation is :
2(x-(2)/(3)) = 0

Open parenthesis


2x - (4)/(6) = 0

Add 4/6 on both sides

2x = 4/6

Divide by 2 on both sides to isolate x

x = 1/3
