Hannah drove 310 miles in 5 hours ,while tom drove 177 miles in 3 hours .which of them drove faster ?

First off you need to make a equation with 310/5 = 177/3

you then divided 310 by 5 and 177 by 3
310 divided by 5 = 62
177 divided by 3 = 59

the answer you get represents how many miles they traveled per hour.
