Answer:

y = -3x-4

Explanation:

First we find the slope

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

= (-16 - -7)/(4-1)

= (-16+7) /3

= -9/3

= -3

The slope intercept form is

y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

y = -3x+b

Using a point

-10 = -3(2)+b

-10 = -6+b

-10+6 = b

-4 = b

y = -3x-4
