Jacob did the following calculations, please explain the error if any. (2-3i)2 = (2-3i)(2-3i) = 4-6i-6i+9i2 = 9i2-12i+4

There is no error, Jacob expand the equation correctly but can go a step further knowing that i^2=-1 so they would have 4-12i+9(-1)=4-12i-9=-5-12i
