Answer : 3/10

Here it's given that Peter's family travelled 3/10 of the distance on Saturday . So if we assume the total distance to be 1 , then the remaining distance will be ,

\sf\longrightarrow 1 - (3)/(10)=(10-3)/(10)=\boxed{(7)/(10)}

Again it's given that they travelled 3/7 of the remaining distance on Sunday . So , the distance travelled would be ,

\sf\longrightarrow (3)/(7)* (7)/(10)=\boxed{\sf (3)/(10)}

Therefore Peter's family travelled 3/10 of the total distance on Sunday .

Answer:

  • 3/10 of the total distance

Explanation:

Travelled on Saturday:

  • 3/10 of the distance

Remaining distance:

  • 1 - 3/10 = 7/10 of the distance

Travelled on Sunday:

  • 3/7 of the 7/10, which is
  • 3/7*7/10 = 3/10
