Answer:

y = -x + 4

Explanation:

(x₁,y₁)= (5, - 1) & (x₂,y₂)= (2 , 2)

Slope =
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

(2-[-1])/(2-5)\\\\=(2+1)/(-3)\\\\=(3)/(-3)\\\\= -1

m = -1

Equation of the line y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y - [-1] = (-1)*(x - 5)

y + 1 = -x + 5 {-1 is distributed}

y = -x + 5 - 1

y = -x + 4
