Explanation:

1. Find the slope -3- -2 / 4 - -2 so -3+2/4+2, -1/6 so m = -1/6

2. Find y intercept (b) y = mx + b so -2 = -1/6(-2) + b, -2 = 1/3 + b

b = -2-1/3, b = -6/3 - 1/3, so b = -7/3

3. Put it all together y = mx + b so y = -1/6x -7/3
