x = 8 1/5

zero-product property says to equate each factors to 0 .

so the factors in (x − 8)(5x − 6) = 0

are (x-8) and (5x-6)

hence equating them to 0

x-8 =0 or 5x-6 =0

x=8 or 5x=6

x=8 or x=6/5

x=8 or x= 1 and 1/5
