Final answer:

To find the number of beads left over, we calculate the number of bracelets that can be made for each design and the total number of beads used. Then, we subtract this number from the total number of beads Vusi has.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the number of beads that will be left over, we need to first find the number of bracelets that can be made with each design using the given number of beads, and then find the total number of beads used for those bracelets. Finally, we subtract this total from the total number of beads Vusi has.

  1. For the first design, Vusi can make 750 ÷ 23 = 32 bracelets.
  2. For the second design, Vusi can make 750 ÷ 29 = 25 bracelets.
  3. For the third design, Vusi can make 750 ÷ 31 ≈ 24 bracelets.

Therefore, the total number of bracelets that can be made is 32 + 25 + 24 = 81, and the total number of beads used for those bracelets is 81 × (23 + 29 + 31) = 7605. Since Vusi has 750 beads, there will be 7605 - 750 = 6855 beads left over.

Answer:

he will have 3 beads left over

Step-by-step explanation:

29 + 23 + 31 = 83 beads used for a set of 3 bracelets of the 3 designs

750/83 = the no. of sets of 3 bracelets of the 3 designs

750/83 = 9 sets with a remainder of 3

So, he will have 3 beads left over
