I assume you mean

an = 3n² - 1

a sequence starts with a1, so, n>=1

a1 = 3×1² - 1 = 3-1 = 2

a2 = 3×2² -1 = 3×4 - 1 = 12 - 1 = 11

a3 = 3×3² - 1 = 3×9 - 1 = 27 - 1 = 26

a4 = 3×4² - 1 = 3×16 - 1 = 48 - 1 = 47

a5 = 3×5² - 1 = 3×25 - 1 = 75 - 1 = 74

there, that is all there is to it. you really needed help with that ?
