First off, Randall gets lost in the woods and cannot get back to his parents. The mood adds a spooky them to the book. Second, Randall spots an eagle that has a nest over his camp, hopeful, Randall follows the Eagle, eager to see if he can find his parents. He does, and he learns to always listen to your elders, because they know things you might not know.
