Hence, our Equation =

x × 10% + 600 × 70% = (x + 600) × 30%

0.1x + 420 = (x + 600)0.3

0.1x + 420 = 0.3x + 180

Collect like terms

0.3x - 0.1x = 420 - 180

0.2x = 240

x = 240/0.2

x = 1200 ounces
