Paper 1 has 60 marks.
Paper 2 has 90 marks.
The pass mark is 2/3 of the total number of marks.
Danielle gets 70% of the marks for Paper 1
How many of the marks for Paper 2 must Danielle get in order to get the pass
mark?

Answer:

58 out of 90 = 64%

Explanation:

Total number of marks for both tests = 60 + 90 = 150

She has 70% on test 1.

70% of 60 is 70/100 * 60 = 42 marks from test 1

To pass she needs 2/3 * 150 = 300 / 3 = 100

That means she needs 100 - 42 = 58 marks on test 2
