Pythagoras Theorem :- In a right angle triangle sum of squares of perpendicular and base is equal to the square of hypotenuse.


\rm\implies hypontenuse^2 = base^2+perpendicular^2

As we can see that here ,

Base = 11cm

Perpendicular = 60cm.


\rm\implies Hypontenuse^2 = Perpendicular^2+Base^2

Substitute the respective values ,


\rm\implies h^2 = (11cm)^2+(60cm)^2

Simplifying ,


\rm\implies h^2 = 121cm^2+3600cm^2

Add the numbers on RHS ,

Take squareroot on both sides ,

Simplify the squareroot ,
