Programs put artists to work across the country decorating municipal and federal buildings and providing art classes. Post offices in Berkeley, California; Decatur, Illinois; Abbeville , Louisiana; and Flandreau, South Dakota, all were painted with vibrant colorful art works. Sculptures were even put atop Boulder Dam.
