factorisation method

4x² - 3x + 9 = 2x + 1

4x² - 3x-2x +9-1 = 0

4x² - 5x + 8 = 0

sum = -5

product= 4x8

factors=(try to look for the numbers when added they give -5 a!d when multiplied they give 32

press the numbers in the position of -5

factorise

each blacket equal it to 0

and solve for the two values of x
