How to find the power of area of a square 3.5² i know the answer is 12.25 but i want the formula of 3.5²​

`3.5^(2)` = 3.5 * 3.5 = 12

square means: multiply the number by itself two times. so 3.5 * 3.5

cube (
`3.5^(3)`) means: multiply the number by itself three times. so 3.5 * 3.5 * 3.5
