Explanation:

You can either use y= mx+b or y-y1=m(x-x1)

I will use y= mx+b

y=mx+b

(-3,2) = (x,y) = -3 is x and 2 is y

-3 =m= slope

y=mx+b

2=-3(-3)+b

2= -3 x-3 +b

2= 9+b

you then subtract 9 on both sides because now 9 is positive so you subtract it.

2=9+b

-9 on both sides

-7= b and the final answer is above
