First, let's consider triangles and parallelograms. Notice that if we cut a parallelogram diagonally to divide it in half, we form two triangles, with the same base and height as the parallelogram. (please answer quickly)

Answer:

if you would cut an parallelogram diagonally yo would have two isosceles triangles. Since it came from the parallelogram in the end if you multiplyed the base and height of both by two it would equal the original parallelogram, if you are finding it seperately then it would not be the same.
