A new nursing assistant is starting her shift. Without knowing their histories, she observes the actions of four patients.

Adora is using a TTY, Riley requires an amplifier, Zina is using hand gestures to interact with her nursing assistant, and
Amal is using a magnifier. Which best explains the possible needs of these patients?

Answer:

I believe it could be C. Adora and Riley are partially deaf, Zina may have had a stroke, and Amal is partially blind.

but A. also looks like it could work, i just personally think she doesn't have to be completely deaf to use a TTY, she could just have slight imparements

Answer:

Zina is using hand gestures which may indicate deafness or loss of hearing, Adora is using a TTY which is a device that is used to communicate through texting/typing so all of them may have hearing loss, are deaf, are hard of hearing, or have possible communication dissabilities.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope this helps :D
