In what ways did the life of Texans change because of urbanization and industrialization?​

Urbanization had a major impact on the Texas economy. People used cash to buy goods. Before, most Texans had been subsistence farmers and to get items that they could not produce themselves, they bartered for them at country stores. As more factories made items, more became available in stores.
