Use the vertex formula to find the vertex of the quadratic function f(x)= -x^2 + 2x - 9

Answer: (1,-8)

Explanation:

The vertex x value is (-b/2a) which is -2/-2=1

The y value we get by subbing in. -1+2-9=-8

So it is (1,-8)
