Using kinematics first equation here,

=> v = u + at

  • u = initial velocity
  • v = final Velocity
  • a = acceleration
  • t = time taken

=> 40 = 10 + a × 6

=>b40 - 10 = a × 6

=> 30 = a × 6

=> 30/6 = a

=> 5 m/s² = a

Now again using kinematics second equation here,

=> s = ut + 1/2at²

  • s = displacement
  • u = initial velocity
  • v = final Velocity
  • a = acceleration
  • t = time taken

=> s = 10× 6 + 1/2 × 5 × 6 × 6

=> s = 60 + 1/2 × 5 × 36

=> s = 60 + 13 × 5

=>bs = 60 + 65

=> s = 125 m
