1/6 * 1/2 = 1/12

Explanation:

1 number on a 6 sided die is 1 out of 6 (1/6) and an even number (2,4,6) on a 6 sided die is 3/6 or 1/2 (always simplify when multiplying fractions)

so 1 times 1 = 1 and 6 times 2 = 12 making it 1/12
