Explain why nonpolar and polar hormone receptors have different locations

Nonpolar hormones are able to quickly cross plasma membranes and connect to specific receptor proteins in their target cells. Polar hormones, on the other hand, bind to receptors on the plasma membrane rather than entering their target cells.
